Mamabeani back on the road. Gigging in July.
Mamabeani will be launching a mini EP 6 track album for the end of July all going well in the studio. On tour from the 31st July we will be selling high quality heat pressed t-shirts and hooded tops and giving away some rare live recordings of course as well as some free copies of the mini EP. So I thought why not show some of the gear and the album cover on here. All just for fun I’m happy with the results so far, but I am sure I will be developing more designs to go on more merchandise over the next couple of months.
Design News Weekly. 1 Rugby Coach Hires Eating Design
1 Rugby Coach has expanded and now have hired the Skills of Eating Design to develop there online presence and marketing. Over the past 3 months we have been in talks and development of the Brand and now we have been given the contract to produce all promotion brochures, web designs and eBooks for the fast growing coaching site.
Design News Weekly. Dupuytren’s Contracture
To start, sorry for the lack of posts lately. Design News Weekly has been put on hold due to an operation on my hand 
and giving my hand time to recover. As stated in the title I have dupuytren’s contracture a condition that I seem to have got early for my age. The good news is It wont have an effect on my design work, but I have to take it easy for another couple of weeks Boo Hoo! I will try to get some new posts
Eating Design Word Press 2.5
To start theres alot going on in the update. Excellent interface and great integration of the stats plugin, displaying of comments and the ease of which changing and adding content can be manipulated, from the front dashboard is top draw. Installation was as easy as ever so don’t hesitate to add the update its worth it in the end. One major change is the adding of media on your post page and support for adding content fast and easy with simplicity. The main aspect of the 2.5 update is CONTROL and the ease of it especially the tags control and media library. I’m still playing around and picking up on the way it works.
One thing I noticed were the widgets, it has some improvement but if you have a 3 column blog moving your widgets from the left to right columns is a bit of a pain. In the past, you could do this by moving it on the fly from one to the other, and from one side to the other side. This isn’t available in this update and the widget columns are contained in separate windows and not displayed together. Ive sorted it by saving the text widgets code into a text file, to import back into the first column or second column. Overall this update is fantastic and a big big thanks is due for the continued quality of wordpress
