It’s never too late to start again. I didn’t see any value in deleting my blog, and looking back at some of my old posts is quite revealing and a little embarrassing just how much I didn’t know. This is also a positive insight into how far I have come.

After 15 years of reading other people’s Creative Reviews I have finally subscribed to the magazine. Never look a bargain in the face. It was the subscription with the free book 🙂

Using your Face

Busy on Pinterest and found this little beauty. A great post from Helen Bailey on inspiredology.com about using your face to make a personal website. Great inspiration, as I was thinking of doing something similar for my portfolio. Off course I’m not a super model, so it was going to be heavily edited and creative use of my face. Maybe a flip top head or something like that. I think it’s a great idea so have a look at this top post. Leave your feedback, do you agree using your face to promote yourself?

Launch LA Event Poster

Just Because I like it. Why? Watch this video to see some great art-working.

Launch LA is an annual trade show that features California lifestyle brands including clothing, accessories, and gadgets from a range of brands, artists, and designers. The event takes place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica which is a dramatic industrial space at the Santa Monica airport. For the 2013 show, we were tasked with creating the event poster which will also serve as the key art for this year’s branding. With the event taking place at an aviation hangar, and Launch’s unique paper plane icon, we decided to incorporate both into a squadron of paper airplanes soaring above the Santa Monica coastline
