Videos of the month

Creatives are creating an Art of movement. A movement in Art. Video is excelling across the internet.

Some of the creative video work cannot be ignored. We are back with our monthly round-up of creative motion from around the internet. If your like me and you sometimes pour through screens of WordPress templates looking for inspiration every now and again the template blogs have some great Vimeo shared videos on them. Just to show a mock-up post page or front page slider. A couple of these videos are from this neck of the woods.

One point I’d like to raise about most of these videos is the cinematography and styling is first class. With the rise of cheap and easy to use HD cameras and DSLR cameras now shooting in full HD the world of creative video is well and truly booming. Still the quality isn’t down to just the equipment. The skill and creative energy and enthusiasm involved in making these videos is a massive part of why we are seeing such quality work. Working with a DSLR camera with a prime lens, set to f2.0 moving the focus in manual can really create a fantastic feel for any video.

This Pointillism video is testament to dedication to create such a striking piece of art. Love it.
